For many pets, that means you need someone you can trust to transport them to and from the event. This helps prevent them from feeling overwhelmed. Whether they need a cat nap or some doggie downtime, pets can only handle so much activity for an hour or two.
When I got married, my husband and I didn’t have our rescue dog, Charlie, by our side—she hadn’t come into our lives yet. Now that she has, I often look at her and wish I could do it all over again, this time including her in our special day.
